Products Description
One Click, One Complete Test
The SGBS-1 was built around a simple idea: press one button, and the test runs itself. Once the operator pours the sample into the brass test cup and starts the program, the tester handles heating, stirring, ignition, flash detection, alarm, cooling and printing automatically - no manual intervention is needed during the process.
A high-speed digital signal processor controls the heating rate according to the selected standard, while an adaptive PID algorithm keeps temperature rise stable throughout the test. Flash detection is handled by a K-type thermocouple, and temperature is measured by an armored PT100 platinum resistance sensor with 0.1°C resolution.
One detail worth noting for labs at different altitudes: the SGBS-1 measures atmospheric pressure automatically and corrects the flash point result based on the selected standard, so operators don't need to apply manual pressure corrections.

Built for Daily Lab Work
Operators interact with the SGBS-1 through a full touchscreen interface. Test parameters - sample number, pre-flash value and test standard - can be set in a few taps. For samples with an unknown flash point, the operator simply enters an estimated value, and the instrument prompts a reset after the first run.
Besides the five built-in standard programs (GB261-A, GB261-B, ASTM-D93A, ASTM-D93B, ASTM-D93C), a custom mode allows users to define heating rate, stirring speed, ignition interval and ignition starting temperature for non-standard samples.
The tester stores the latest 50 test records with date and time stamps. Each record includes sample number, atmospheric pressure, pre-flash value, flash point result and test standard, and can be printed directly on the built-in thermal printer.
Safety functions include automatic shutdown and alarm when temperature exceeds the set limit, and electric ignition that eliminates the need for an open gas flame.
